The Boomer Anchor was borne from a case of fishing frustration. Duncan wanted an aggressive anchor that wouldn't drag in loose shale bottom, but also wouldn't get stuck on a hard reef. He wanted to take the guesswork out of anchor retrievall and have something that would release at a consistent measurable pressure with a simple direct pull. It had to be light and hold in sand and mud in a small or larger boat.

After 16 years of trial and error, the BOOMER ALL TERRAIN ANCHOR was successfully commercialized.
