Unlike traditional anchors that keep their bulky shape and rely on the unpredictabilities of bending prongs or a slide or cable-tie to allow them to flip around backwards to, hopefully, extricate them from hard structure, the Boomer All Terrain Anchor relies on a direct engineered measured amount of extra pressure to make the anchor collapse and transform to a smaller, free flowing shape for a much more reliable, environmentally friendly, stress-free retrieval.

It was designed as the preferred fishing/mooring anchor to replace reef picks that can't hold in sand and mud and plough/sand anchors that are notorious for getting stuck on reef.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The anchor's aggressive design holds like a beast, however, it has a superior, measured release that creates a calmer stress-free feeling for the skipper when it is time to retrieve your anchor.

The patented retrieval system sets it apart from any other anchor. It utilises a world's first shear pin release.

Simply choose the size of the holding pin and apply a measurable extra force to pop the pin if your anchor gets stuck. No more guesswork!

The sacrificial pins are simple zinc coated full metal thread bolts and wingnuts. They are cheap and easy to re-stock from Bunnings or Hardware stores, or enquire about extras from us.

There is no threat of premature release, with a wide selection of holding pins.
