The Boomer Anchor is the "Swiss Army Knife" of anchors.
Quality, precision and multi-purpose versatility.
Quality Stainless Steel construction and a patented release system combine to deliver a grapnel anchor that bites faster and holds stronger in sand and mud - so you can target more fish!
Traditional grapnel anchors are notorious for being poor in soft conditions. Plough and sand anchors are good in sand and mud, but can get horribly stuck on reefs.
Not the Boomer.
The Boomer Anchor is awesome in reef, and when switched to "mud mode" it holds like a beast in sand and mud. The best of both worlds, plus a retrieval system second to none.
The Boomer calibrated release mechanism is a groundbreaking development in anchoring technology. As the first solution of its kind, it directly addresses a long-standing and dangerous issue faced by boaters: ANCHORS BECOMING STUCK!
Here are just some of its incredible features:
- Unsurpassed Quality & Faster Holding
- No Changing Anchors
- Proven in Reef, Sand & Mud
- Anti - Snag Retrieval System
- Folds for Easy Stowage - NO BIG ROLL-BARS
- Lighter, High Performance Convenience
- Safely Holds 3-9 Metre Boats
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The patented hold and retrieve system utilises a consistent pressure, shear pin release.
Simply choose the size of the holding pin and apply a measurable force for a safe retrieval if your anchor gets stuck.
The shear pin safety system sets it apart from any other anchor. We have been able to establish consistent Safe Working Limits, which can't be accurately achieved with cable-ties, spring loaded systems and slide releases.
The sacrificial pins are simple zinc coated full metal thread bolts and wingnuts. They are cheap and easy to re-stock from Bunnings or Hardware stores, or enquire about extras from us.
There is no threat of premature release, with a wide selection of holding pins.
Approximately 50 pins are supplied with your order - Light , Medium, Heavy, Heavy Duty & Non-release Overnight.
